LG Releases New LCD Monitor, TV

LG Electronics has launched of its first Monitor TV. This new addition in the range of exclusive LCD monitors, called Monitor TV, will get consumers to experience dual entertainment.

The monitor TV is conceptualized as an LCD monitor with various AV/TV functions with access to AV/TV devices such as DVD player, VCR, Video, console games, camcorders etc.

R. Manikandan, Business Group Head, Digital Display and Storage, LG Electronics India Pvt. Ltd said, "As always we have tried to provide an innovative offering that would meet the need of the consumers through the Monitor TV. We are positive that it would meet the expectations’ of consumers. Also recent recognitions at the market place reflect the acceptance that our products enjoy amongst consumers and motivate us further to come up with new unique offerings."

This monitor is available in sizes 18.5W / 21.5W / 23W for Rs. 12,990, Rs. 16,990 and Rs.17, 990 respectively.

Question: What makes this different from any small screen LCD? After all they too can be used as monitors... I guess we will have to wait for a review.
