Samsung Electronics today announced the launch of its 75ES9000 LED Smart TV in the Indian market. In an official statement, the company claims that with the launch, it has met the rising market demand for television screens with a size of 152 centimetres or more. The ES9000 is available at select Samsung authorised stores across the country at a price of Rs 7,50,000. ![]() Comes with a rose and gold-coloured finish
The official statement shares that the 75ES9000 LED Smart TV’s design concept includes a 7.9 millimetre curved bezel with no visible seams, which complements the TV’s square stand. Additionally, the TV’s built-in camera is hidden within the top of the bezel, rendering it invisible when not in use.
The ES9000 includes the complete suite of Samsung’s Smart TV features—Smart Interaction, Smart Content and Smart Evolution—that were introduced with Samsung’s flagship Smart TVs earlier this year. These features enable users to control and interact with their TVs in a more intuitive way; choose from a broader range of premium and signature content that can be shared across multiple devices; and access the latest hardware and software features to constantly receive updates on their Smart TVs. The ES9000 also includes Sound Share, the newest Smart TV feature, which automatically and wirelessly connects TV audio to Samsung’s Series 6 and Series 7 Wireless Audio with Dock Systems. Furthermore, with the ES9000, Samsung claims to offer a faster and more seamless Smart TV experience to fit the ultimate lifestyle, through a new dual-core processor that allows consumers to download and use multiple apps while browsing the Web. ![]() At the launch of Samsung 75ES9000 LED Smart TV
Samsung adds that the ES9000’s picture quality '‘matches this enhanced Smart TV experience'’. It makes use of Samsung’s Micro Dimming Ultimate and Precision Black technology to deliver what Samsung calls a richer, more optimised color and detail; higher contrast ratios; a 30 percent improvement in sharpness and black levels; and a 60 percent improvement in brightness levels over the ES8000 series—supporting larger screen sizes and longer viewing distances.
Samsung has also introduced the new Angry Birds app for its Smart Interaction-enabled TVs. For the first time ever, consumers will be able to enjoy Angry Birds entirely with gesture controls – no controller needed. With just the wave of the hand, fans can control game play features including initiating the slingshot and activating the unique skills of each bird. Angry Birds will be available via free download on Samsung's ES7500, ES8000 LED, ES9000 LED TVs and E8000 Plasma TVs.
“The ES 9000 represents superior quality, best in class performance and features in a very sophisticated and elegant design. It provides consumers with a pure immersive viewing experience,” said Mr. Mahesh Krishnan, Vice President - Consumer Electronics, Samsung India. |
