Jabra Halo, Stone Headsets Announced

24 Feb, 2010, 2:53 pm IST | by tech2 News Staff | Headphones

Two new Jabra headsets, Halo and Stone, have been launched.

Designed for music lovers, the Halo boasts wireless connectivity via Bluetooth with the ability to connect to a mobile phone, an MP3 player, a laptop and even a TV.

With a touch-sensitive control panel tucked away on the side of the headset, users can pump up the volume remotely. On receiving a call the Jabra Halo simply fades out the sounds and lets users attend the call.

Developed by GN Netcom, the Jabra Halo features the classic over-the-head design with intuitive on/off functionality, a discreet display to reveal battery and connectivity status, a touch volume control and a foldable headband.

The Jabra Halo is compatible with any Bluetooth wireless technology (A2DP) music-playing device and all 3.5 mm music playing devices. It also has the versatility to switch between wireless and wired connectivity.

Exclusively developed by GN Netcom, Noise Blackout, a noise-cancelation, uses dual microphones to capture sound while filtering background noise to offer premium audio quality. Used together with advanced DSP technology and Audio Shock Protection that monitors incoming audio volume, sound is innovatively balanced to block out background sound, leaving both sides of the call with a natural-sounding voice quality.
