Creative Announces Aurvana DJ Headphones

Creative Technology has announced its Aurvana DJ Headphones complementing its latest range of X-Fi Xtreme Fidelity audio systems. Built for ultra-comfort using high-grade acoustic components, the Creative Aurvana DJ Headphones can be used as companion product for any MP3 or portable media players with a regular headphone jack.

Joseph Liow, Vice President, Personal Digital Entertainment Products of Creative Technology Ltd said, "The plush leatherette ear pads significantly reduce ambient noise, making the headphones ideal for use in a noisy club environment or in a quieter home environment. These headphones leverage on Creative's decades of audio expertise to deliver pristine audio quality from any audio equipment such as DJ consoles, mixers and portable audio or media players."

Key features of Creative Aurvana DJ Headphones include Acoustically-tuned 40mm Neodymium drivers with Copper-Clad Aluminum Wire (CCAW) voice coils for accurate and linear response, angled ear-cups that optimally direct sound into the ear canal, Circum-Aural closed-back design with leatherette ear-pads and an adjustable headband. The headphones also come with 180-degree vertical swivel ear-cups with DJ-friendly rubber grip for easy monitoring of music mixes. Also, high-purity Oxygen-Free Copper (OFC) cable and gold-plated plugs aim to give users clear audio playback. The single-sided coiled cable facilitates DJ or home studio monitoring use.

The Headphones can be paired with the high-fidelity Creative X-Fi audio solutions such as Creative Xmod, Creative X-Fi Sound System Z600 and any MP3 or portable media players with a regular headphone jack, including Creative's latest ZEN series of MP3 players such as the Creative ZEN Vision W, Creative ZEN Vision:M and Creative ZEN V Plus.
