JVC's New Noise Cancellation Earphones

10 Mar, 2007, 7:02 pm IST | by Aalaap Ghag | Headphones

You don’t need to wear big headphones to avail of noise cancellation features. JVC’s new in-ear style earphones – the HA-NCX77 – come with this feature and look as sleek as the tiniest earphones out there.

The earphones, being in-ear style, block out most of the noise, leaving the hard-to-block sounds to the powered box to cancel out, giving a total noise cancellation rate of around 80%. The power supply works on just one AAA battery and is good for up to 70 hours. Your MP3 player will run out of power before the cancellation stops!

The JVC HA-NCX77s will set you back by around $80 (around Rs. 3,500). They’re definitely on my shopping list the next time someone makes a trip down from the U.S. of A!
