Ultimate Ears Roll Out Blackberry/iPhone Earbuds

Ultimate Ears is one of the best names in the world of earphones, and I don't know when they will come to India officially (whining). They have come out with a new model in the universal-fit range of headphones, dubbed TripleFi 10vi, to deliver a Hi-fi audio experience for the iPhone and BlackBerry.

They have a triple speaker configuration, consisting of an integrated passive-crossover circuit that directs low and mid-range frequencies to a dedicated pair of speakers, creating “warm bass and smooth mid-range”, whereas high frequency sounds are delivered via the third speaker channel.

In addition, the TripleFi 10vi is endowed with a multi-function button that enables one to answer/end phone calls while hands-free calling is also available thanks to a miniature mic.

“The expanding popularity of iPhone and BlackBerry devices spurred us to introduce a universal-fit product that would offer an unparalleled listening experience, as well as make it easy to take phone calls,” said Philippe Depallens, Logitech vice president and general manager of Ultimate Ears. “Now, whether you’re taking a call with a client or listening to your favorite song, the TripleFi 10vi earphones will make everything sound as if you’re in the same room – with your client or your favorite band.”

The price is quite high, at about $419.99, and so would be more than Rs. 20,000 if it comes to India.
