Multi-purpose devices are all the rage and I-Tech that made the A2DP compatible BluePRO and BlueBAND headsets has launched a new Bluetooth headset called the BluePOINTER. It’s quite aptly named considering the device can actually be used as a laser pointer and a flashlight. The BluePOINTER headset supports v2.0+EDR class 2 Bluetooth specifications and an HID profile for remotely scrolling PC presentations. According to the company it can provide users with up to 6 hours of talk time, 3 hours using the laser pointer and 1 hour using its 4mm LED flashlight. It’s quite a light weight headset at 13 grams.
