Altec Lansing has been a forerunner in the audio business, right up there with Bose or JBL. Their latest offering is in the form of a new iPod dock, the Octiv Duo M202. It's designed to charge up to 3 iPods or iPhones simultaneously (compatible with the iPhone 4 as well). You can also play music from 2 devices at the same time with the free 'Music MixApp' provided by Altec Lansing. Sure, it won’t necessarily make you a bonafide party DJ, but at least that's an option of trying. They’ve also added an Auxiliary input in case you want to play music via another device. Like most other iPod Docks, this one also has a wireless remote included Other features also include an alarm function. The Octiv Duo dock will release in the first week of October in the US at a price Rs. 4537 ($99). Hopefully we’ll see this product hit India as well. |
