Epson today announced the launch of its two newest all-in-one inkjet printer models - the Tx121 and the Tx220. The Tx121 is Epson's lowest priced entry-level all-in-one printer, while the Tx220 is its mainstream all-in-one printer. They boast print speeds of 28 pages per minute (ppm) for black/15 ppm for colour and 34 ppm (black)/15 ppm (color) respectively. The Tx121 - cheap but effective. The Tx121 features scan and copy functions, and allows users to use the more affordable Epson 91N ink cartridges along with the standard 73Ns. The Tx220 on the other hand has built-in card reading slots for direct printing, and a 1.5 inch LCD screen to view pictures before printing and also for its menus. Speaking on the launch, Mr. Samba Moorthy, General Manager - Sales & Marketing, Epson India had this to say: "The Epson Stylus TX111 and TX210 which the Epson Stylus TX121 and TX220 replace were our best selling all-in-one printer models because of the high performance and value they offered customers. The TX121 comes with a new design and one-touch buttons for copying convenience while the TX220 offers faster print speed than its predecessor. We believe these new all-in-one printers will continue to offer leading value and be even more popular than their predecessors." As you can see, the Tx121 and Tx220 are priced at Rs. 3999/- and Rs. 5999/- respectively. |
