With USB 3.0 support and backward compatibility to USB 2.0, the Buffalo MiniStation Extreme works with nearly any PC or Mac, while providing an interface speed of up to 5 Gbps (depending on the USB interface). Also, it comes with an Eco-Manager power management tool, which regulates power usage and conserves energy when the hard drive is inactive.
