Gaming site www.games2win.com is making hay when the sun shines. The site has recently launched a new game called Bollywood Buckwaas. This game deters players from breaking the law by killing endangered species. In this game, the player is actor Salman Khan who has to kill all animals except endangered species. In case he shoots a black buck, he loses the game and goes to jail. “We at games2win.com, create games that are event and topical driven. In this game, players can display their hunting skills inside the forest but they have to avoid killing black bucks” says Alok Kejriwal, founder and CEO, games2win.com. When asked if it is alright to kill other animals but leave aside the black buck, Kejriwal says, “We are not encouraging people to kill animals. We should look at this game in a positive way. Black bucks are already endangered species, through this game we are just bringing them back to life. Other topical games introduced by the site are Thapa Ka Thappad where the player has to slap the on screen villain like Jade Goody, Mohinder Singh and Surinder Singh and Alistair Pereira. Floodbath was created in the event of the Mumbai floods where the player is drowning and has to throw things at a man is sitting dry on a bench and drown him as well. While many critics think that violent games fuels aggressive instincts, games2win.com is surely raking in the moolah out of an issue that has enraged the Bishnoi tribe of Rajasthan and animal activists. |
