Nasty Link Replaces Michelle Obama's Nasty Pic

26 Nov, 2009, 10:42 am IST | by tech2 News Staff | Windows

We carried news yesterday that a racist pic of Michelle Obama topped Google images when a search for the US' First Lady's pics was conducted.

The image of Michelle Obama that was photoshopped to look like a monkey was hosted on a Chinese site and the image has been pulled down and instead the page that previously contained the image now has an apology in English posted under Chinese text.

But though the pic has been pulled off and there's an apologetic link, right under it is a link to "Michelle Obama monkey", which leads to some distasteful pics.

Removing the pic seems kind of redundant now doesn't it?
