Smoking Baby Pic Puts Mum in Hot Seat

A British teenage mum faced a lot of public ire and was investigated by social services after a relative reportedly uploaded a pic of her six month old baby with an unlit cigarette dangling from his mouth, on Facebook. Someone who saw the pic on Facebook called the cops on her but the police said that they found nothing of concern in the house. Michelle Elliott from the child safety charity Kidscape reportedly said, "The problem we have here is that we have babies having babies and they think something like this is funny. Even though the cigarette is not lit, what kind of message does this send out? It's completely inappropriate and irresponsible." The mother of the little boy, Rebecca Davies, received mixed reactions from her friends. Some reiterated to her that she was indeed a good mum but others weren't that kind.
