Social Network For Moms Goes Live

Recently launched social networking site, MomJunction.com is aimed at uniting all the mothers in the world, in an effort to foster some cyber-bonding among them. The portal includes features such as customized profile pages with pictures, forums for discussions, public groups, calendar, organizer, instant messenger and a journal. Also, MomJunction has created a process called Ripple, to connect moms across groups to extended network friends. This feature aims to help moms seek out or share information with people they know and benefit from the knowledge of potentially millions of moms. Sang Kim, Founder and CEO MomJunction says, "The beta program was phenomenal, in that real moms helped design some features and functionality. We also saw the model really work, with tips and recommendations exchanged and even some buying and selling among moms." The portal plans to add more interactive tools and features for moms across the world, to communicate their problems and solutions effectively over the Internet. |
