Yahoo! Video Gets Sundance, Expo TV

Yahoo! has announced that Yahoo! Video, will feature content from two new partners, Sundance Channel and Expo TV. The two new channels will showcase new content for Yahoo! Video users from Sundance Channel's exclusive behind-the-scenes footage at the Sundance Film Festival to Expo TV's consumer-generated video product reviews and buying guides for everything from beauty to cars. "As a leading online video destination, Yahoo! Video is constantly looking for new ways to help users discover the universe of video content on the Web," said Jason Zajac, general manager of social media at Yahoo!. "By bringing the exciting, high-quality content of both the Sundance Channel and Expo TV to our audience of users, we are continuing to make Yahoo! Video the most comprehensive online video resource on the Web." Sundance Channel on Yahoo! Video, available here will feature the content and culture of creative filmmaking at the annual Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah as well as additional content from Sundance Channel's programming lineup. "We are excited to work with Yahoo! Video to enable more viewers to experience the unique content and makers that are part of both the Sundance Film Festival and Sundance Channel," said Christopher Barry, vice president, digital media and business strategy for Sundance Channel. "Online video is a rapidly growing medium for our audience. Working with Yahoo! Video allows us to extend their experience and expose our fans to more high quality programming while also reaching others for the first time." Expo TV on Yahoo! Video, available here, offers a new resource for consumers in Expo TV's library of consumer-generated product research videos. Yahoo! Video users will have access to thousands of Expo TV full-motion videos, categorized by interest areas and product types "With easy access to Expo TV's Videopinion reviews, Yahoo! Video users can now watch products in action and hear the real-life experiences of other consumers," said Daphne Kwon, CEO of Expo TV. "Product research is one of the most popular activities on the Web, and with Expo TV's Videopinion reviews, products will come alive for Yahoo! Video users." Both the Sundance Channel and Expo TV channels will offer Yahoo!
