Inspan Infotech, one of the largest IT distribution companies for motherboards and hardware components, has launched KM 110X, a value desktop combo from Genius. The new value solution combines a comfortable keyboard and an optical mouse as a value added entry level kit. The low-profile keycap structure provides good touch and a water resistant functionality, which protects the keyboard from accidental drink spillages. The mouse features an 800dpi optical sensor for smooth tracking without worrying about any dust accumulation. The Genius KM 110X PS2 is priced at 615, while the Genius KM 110X USB is priced at 650. The keyboard comes in just one colour (black) and with a warranty period of 3 years. It’s now available in stores.
The new arrival
The keyboard features a 45.6 x 16.2 x 2.55 (LxWxHcm) body size and weighs just 550g. The KM 110X is compatible with Windows 7/Vista/XP, IBM/Pentium PC compatible or higher. It is available in PS2 or USB port depending on your requirement. The package contains a KM 110X keyboard, NetScroll 120 mouse and a multi-language user's manual. “Genius always comes out with current requirements of the customers. They have always addressed the demand of the hour at the right time. KM 110X is the need currently at the entry level," said Sudhir S, Managing Director of Inspan Infotech. "This product is cost effective and well suits the entry level combos with good features and hence adding a feature rich to the partners kitty," adds Sudhir. Inspan Infotech also features other brands under its banner, like Mercury, IXA, Corsair, Cyberclean, Numeric, A-DATA, and ViewSonic, etc.
This is a basic keyboard with no multimedia buttons on the top. It’s designed for those looking for a simple, yet functional solution for everyday use. It’s probably not the keyboard of choice for gaming either, but if simple Internet surfing and some Office work is what you do mostly then this should work well.
