It was only recently that we had reviewed Acer’s Aspire One netbook and come away fairly impressed with its performance. Though there have been many releases, the Aspire One has clearly been our favorite choice among netbooks. Now this deal has just gotten sweeter. Acer has now dropped the price of the Aspire One netbook to just Rs. 17,499+taxes. S. Rajendran, Chief Marketing Officer, Acer India said, “Christmas is one of the biggest gifting seasons world over. With this latest initiative from Acer, the Aspire one can be an ideal gift during this festive season. We also believe that this would be a beachhead to the widespread adoption of mobile computing in India as consumers in a slowing economy look at ‘super value’ for money offerings.The Acer Aspire one, which has been a rage the world over in diverse geographies including America, Europe, Japan, South Africa and the APAC, is a revolutionary breakthrough by Acer in product design, functionality.
