Acer launches S, M, V3, V5 and E series notebooks

Acer has announced the launch of the S, M V3, V5 and E series of notebooks under its Aspire range. Acer has launched more than 30 models in this new range of notebooks that aim to meet the requirements of their customers - be it a business executive, a gizmo geek, today’s style conscious youth or the diligent learner. The new notebooks will focus on providing performance improvements, along with superior design and looks.

 


The five new categories launched under the Aspire range, include the S, M, V3, V5 and E series. Here’s a quick individual overview of few of the models:

 

M series: Aspire Timeline Ultra M3 is slimmer and lighter, at 20 mm thin, and under 2.3 kg. The Aspire Timeline Ultra M3 comes with a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce GT640M graphics (Industry first) and is powered by the 2nd Generation Intel Core processors. This Ultrabook comes with a wake up time of 1.5 seconds using Acer’s Instant On technology, and within another 2.5 seconds users have access to internet, thanks to Acer’s Always Connect. The hard disk drive offers plenty of space for large files, and its integrated solid state drive enables instant-on capability. The embedded Li-polymer battery pack provides more than 8 hours of use and lasts 80 days in deep sleep mode using Acer’s Green Instant On.

The Aspire Timeline Ultra M3 is also the first 15-inch Ultrabook to feature an optical drive for DVD. Other entertainment enhancements, include Dolby Home Theater v4. The M series starts at Rs.51,999+tax.

 

V5 Series: These are 30 percent slimmer and 10 percent lighter than the traditional notebooks and are powered by 2nd Generation Intel Core processor family and configured with NVIDIA’s GeForce GT Series graphics. With this notebook, Acer Instant Connect gets you online in just 2.5 seconds at hotspots where users have connected before, so just walking into your favourite coffee shop will get you online. 

 

Sharing files among digital devices is also quick and well-adapted via USB 3.0, a multi-in-1 card slot, and Bluetooth 4.0. The Aspire V5 Series with Acer eRecovery Management restores your PC to disc on the optical drive and your personal assets are well-protected. Acer Backup Manager offers flexible backup and restores features. The V5 series starts at Rs.27,999+taxes.

 

V3 Series: The Aspire V3 series is powered by the 2nd Generation Intel Core Processors and comes with upto 2GB NVIDIA GeForce graphics. It also features Dolby Home theater V4 and is labeled as a notebook for entertainment and performance enthusiasts. The V3 series starts at Rs.37,999 + tax.

 

E Series: The Aspire E Series aims to deliver a mobile PC experience. It comes with handy multimedia tools, and convenient connectivity make daily computing more easy going. The E series starts at Rs.24,749 + tax.
