Apple Releases Firmware Update For Macbooks

In a major update Apple has finally released a new firmware for its Macbooks. The new firmware adjusts and manages fan speed for the MacBook to prevent overheating. This fix comes hot on the heels of a similar release for the MacBook Pro line. What I find odd is that that while Apple has quietly bowed to the complaints and released a fix, I have not come across too many complaints regarding this issue. For those of you who own MacBooks, you can obtain the new firmware by running Software Update or check out the changes the firmware makes here . |
