India's First Refrigerator With HDTV!

LG Electronics launched India’s first refrigerator with a TV, yesterday. The new TV Dios, 795-litre refrigerators not only has a hi-definition 15-inch TFT LCD TV, but also a built-in radio tuner speakers and DVD input. The refrigerator will also have a patented technology, Ice Beam Door Cooling, for uniform cooling and better food preservation. The TV DIOS is available for Rs 2,25,000 in the Indian market this Diwali.

Speaking at the launch, Deputy Managing Director, LGEIL Moon B Shin said, "We are expecting tremendous growth in the high end refrigerator segment in India which is still at a nascent stage. With these launches, LG has strengthened its premium product portfolio, and we are confident that consumers will appreciate this range which is a subtle combination of quality, technology and design."

The Frost-free range is priced between Rs 38,500 to Rs 65,000 while the DIOS Refrigerators range between Rs 80,000 and Rs 1,35,000, now available in the market.
