Sony Launches LCD TV With 200Hz MotionFlow Technology

It's another "world's first" being claimed by Sony. We were expecting someone to jump on that bandwagon, once we had 100Hz frame rate doubling. That said, sony has introduced the BRAVIA Z450A, the world’s first LCD TV with Motionflow 200Hz technology in India.

The advantages of this new technology are meant to come out in action scenes or sports broadcasts as it reduces jerkiness by creating an additional, transitional picture that is inserted into fast-moving sequences. It basically aims at eliminating blur in moving images. The transitional images are created by examining the pictures that immediately precede and follow the next image in the sequence.

Additionally, the BRAVIA Z450A is equipped with a full suite of exclusive BRAVIA technologies, from the BRAVIA Engine2 to 24P True Cinema technology, Live Colour Creation technology and 10-bit LCD panel.
Advanced Contrast Enhancer and Intelligent Picture are a couple more proprietary features on the offer.

Available in 52”, 46”, 40” sizes, the new BRAVIA Z450A will be available at the Sony owned store, select Sony authorized dealers, as well as national retail partners across the country for Rs. 3, 59,900, Rs. 243,900 and Rs. 1, 83,900 respectively.
