Vu and Zenith Release New Products

Vu Technologies partnering with Zenith Computers introduces the Intelligent TV, amongst a host of other audio visual and computing goodies. The Vu Intelligent TV is basically the marriage of a PC and an LCD panel. Everything is neatly packed into the frame of a regular LCD TV, thus it looks like your idiot box at home, but this one of course is no idiot.

This Full HD screen comes with a keyboard and is PIP enabled. No other TV offers you the options of Flickr, Facebook, Youtube and Twitter, as one can get connected, have a life size video chat, get your news on demand or get live home security. We don't know too much about the specs yet, but for now let it be known that there is an Atom 1.6 GHz processor, 1 GB RAM and 160 GB HDD in the package, and all these can be upgraded.

Zenith on the other hand released something called the SmartStylePC, which features a 17” WXGA with built-in speakers and an Intel Dual Core Processor T2130 with a memory of 1 GB and hard disk capacity of 80GB. Created at Zenith’s New Product Development Centre (NPDC) the SmartStylePC is priced at Rs. 20,000 and provides an exceptional computing experience to the customer.

Also released by VU is a super large 55-inch LCD screen, for all the gamers and movie buffs out there. And yes, they also showcased a waterproof LCD screen for those gamers and multimedia buffs who play in the bathroom! The cost of the Intelligent TV is suggested at about Rs. 70,000, which according to us is a good deal. Watch this space for a review,very soon.
