Women Prefer Computer Games over Sex: Survey

First of all, it's a brand of chips that conducted this survey. Doritos, the "nacho" brand, conducted a survey of 2,052 people in preparation for the launch of their Facebook game, Doritos Dip Desperados. Among some of the interesting facts it found were that 49 per cent of the women in the survey sample said that they played computer games (the nature of "computer games" hasn't been defined, so it could be StarCraft or Farmville). 84 per cent of this 49 per cent said that they enjoy playing their computer games. 62 per cent of the 49 per cent said they enjoyed working out, 71 per cent said they enjoy shopping and 70 per cent said that they like having sex. 17 per cent of the women in the survey said that they play their computer games in bed. Ditching dudes for the farm
Of course, there are two questions that come to my mind. Where did Doritos find this sample of people taking the survey and what are men in that area doing wrong? I admit, Farmville can be relatively appealing to the average woman who isn't doing the nasty on a regular basis, but to actually have a preference for it? Perhaps, it is evolutionary, the latest form of population control. The endangered forests and animal species thank you kindly Zynga. Thanks to people harvesting their raspberries every four minutes, panda bears might actually have a shot at survival. |
