Apple is Supposedly Working on iOS 5.0

It comes as no surprise that there’s already some news going around about Apple working on their latest iteration of the iOS. The Cupertino company and their devices have always generated that hype with something or the other. This time, it’s their operating system.

iOS Fifth Generation!

iOS Fifth Generation!

According to iPodnn, an app developer called FutureTap has tweeted about a crash report they got from an iDevice that was supposedly running iOS 5.0. It mentions a code string “MKUserLocationBreadCrumb” which might have something to do with location or mapping. It probably means that Apple might venture into a Google Latitude kind of a Location sharing app for all iPhone users.

Apple it seems usually likes to keep all their testing work to themselves and not reveal it to the outer world. However, in order to analyze how their software’s working, they are forced to check it in real-time conditions and maybe that’s how we get this piece of news.

It’s quite obvious that this one’s in the rumour stage, but it’s quite interesting to see what Apple might have in store next for the common man.
