NXZT Unveils The 'Avatar S' Gaming Mouse

| by tech2 News Staff | Mice

NZXT, one of the more popular manufacturers of cabinets and peripherals has launched a new gaming mouse aimed at those who want precision at a great price. Called the ‘Avatar S’, the mouse has a 1600 DPI sensor with 1600/800/400 DPI settings out of the box. The hardware DPI switch allows for driver-less switching of DPI insuring instant plug and play without the need for drivers. Gamers who like to take their gear to tournaments and LAN parties can use the 16kb onboard memory to store their key binding, DPI settings and macros profile.

Left handed users need not fear as the Avatar S has been designed for both right and left handed users (a lot of gaming mice are designed for right hand users only). The Teflon feet at the bottom ensure super-smooth and effortless gliding, no matter what the surface. The mouse also has 5 programmable keys which are located at the left and right hand side of the mouse ensuring that you never run out of way to kill the enemy. The Avatar S does not skimp on looks either. It has cool LED lights which give off a real batmobile kinda vibe, but you can turn them off if it bothers you, later on.

The Avatar S comes in a choice of two colours (black and white) and will retail for $40 (Rs.1,920).
