CES 2010: Mophie to Launch iPhone Credit Card Payment Method

07 Jan, 2010, 12:04 pm IST | by Shayne Rana |

We’re no strangers to the online Credit card payment system; in fact one might say it’s become somewhat of a norm as online shopping is getting increasingly popular. But we knew that the day would soon come when using your credit card via your mobile handset would come and with CES 2010, it’s so much closer.

A company called Mophie that’s in the business of manufacturing iPhone accessories has developed a system that plugs into the iPhone and with the help of an application allows users to swipe there cards and make payments. The portion that contains the swipe slot is attached to a casing that the iPhone simply sits in making it quite a convenient tool. The pricing hasn’t yet been announced.
