Yet another fashion icon has decided that they want to enter the mobile phone segment. After Samsung’s Armani, LG’s Prada and Dolce and Gabbana with Motorola got the Gold RAZR making waves, Christian Dior has got their mobile groove on with ModeLabs and has launched a fashionable handset in different color options. This premium handset comes with features that include a camera and a touch screen interface. What’s unique about it is a convenient solution for women so they won’t need to file through a large bag full of personal effects looking for their phone. The solution is a small device called ‘My Dior’ which acts as a mini handset of sorts that can be clipped to the outside of a bag. This way users won’t need to use the main handset itself but just this device. The main handset would be used for messaging, web access etc. The price of this luxury phone is a whopping Rs. 2,14,150 ($5000). For that price it had better have some truly spectacular features. |
