If you liked the design of Nokia’s C7 but found it out of your budget then we may have a solution for you today. XAGE has recently launched their MT 711 touch screen phone that bears a striking resemblance to Nokia’s offering. It’s cheap too. At just Rs 5,799, it’s less than half the cost of the C7. This dual-sim phone sports a 3.2-inch touchscreen display (resistive obviously) and a 3.2MP camera. Look familiar?
Other features include MP4 and RMVB video playback capabilities, EDGE support (no 3G), Bluetooth with A2DP and FM Radio. It even has an analog TV feature which means you can watch TV channels while on the move. Social networking is also taken care of by Twitter, Facebook, Yahoo Messenger, etc. Finally, we also have an answering machine feature built-in. While the OS on the MT 711 won’t be as user friendly as Symbian, the phone is quite visually appealing, which is more than enough for some people. They’ve even gone with the same colour scheme that Nokia uses. Expect to see the MT 711 in stores soon. |
