Mozilla’s mobile internet browser, Fennec, is in the news again with more features being revealed. The latest information on the kind of features the new browser will have integrated includes a tie in with Google Location Services. What that means is, the browser is capable of working with A-GPS to find your location and customize features to that area. The geolocating feature is merely an option that can be turned on or off according to the user's whims. However it’ll provide for better searches, especially when looking for places within a specific area where you happen to be located. The same feature is also due to be integrated with Firefox 3.5 Beta, which is the desktop version. No word on its release yet, but stay tuned for information on the launch of Firefox for mobile Alpha. |
