Google Nexus One to Cost $530

Google and T-mobile will reportedly sell the Nexus One smartphone for $529.99 unlocked or $179.99 with a two-year contract. According to Gizmodo T-Mobile will offer the Nexus One with a $79.99 monthly plan that will include 500 minutes of talk time with unlimited nights and weekends, text messaging and Web usage. Google has scheduled a press event on the 5th of January. Gizmodo also reported that existing T-Mobile customers will not be allowed to keep their current plan if they want a subsidized phone; they would have to opt for the Nexus One plan. Also on sale will be Nexus One desktop docking station for $39.99 or a Nexus One car docking station for $49.99 from www.google.com/phone, (the site is inactive as of now) and each Google Account user will be allowed to buy only five Nexus One phones. |
