Telecom service provider Hutch, has launched billing services in nine Indian languages — Hindi, Punjabi, Marathi, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Bengali, Gujarati and Malayalam — apart from English. Hutch customers can call the Hutch Care Helpline 111 and request for bills in the language of their choice. They will then receive bills in their preferred language from the next billing cycle onwards. These services are being offered at no extra charge. Harit Nagpal, marketing director said, "10 language billing is another first from Hutch in making billing services more customer friendly. Hutch believes that service innovations such as these provide great value to our customers, increasing user convenience and loyalty." Hutch Customers can now also pay their bills through credit card. They can call Hutch Care Helpline 111 and choose the 'pay by credit card' option from the billing and payment menu and follow the steps. Upon completion, the transaction will be confirmed through an SMS giving a reference number for further enquiries. The entire process is fully automated. Payments received through this mode will be posted online thus updating the subscriber's account instantly. |
