Mobile and online games company Indiagames has partnered with the casual gaming company PopCap Games, to exclusively distribute key titles from PopCap's catalog of games on the mobile platform in India. PopCap Games is known for popular games like Bejeweled, Bookworm and Chuzzle. According to the agreement, Bookworm and Chuzzle will be available for download with leading Telco operators across India. Samir Bangara, COO, Indiagames said, "Our partnership with PopCap Games is in tune with our policy of making available the best mobile gaming content to the Indian consumer. PopCap Games have been extremely popular on the online space and we believe that titles like Bookworm and Chuzzle which appeal to a wide audience will be equally popular with mobile gamers in India". PopCap had earlier tied up with Indiagames to make its games catalog available on Indiagames' subscription based online gaming service – Games on Demand (GoD). |
