Intex launches new touch phone, the Sense

Intex Technologies, one of the companies dealing in IT hardware, consumer electronics and mobile phones have launched the Sense – a touchscreen phone with a 3.2-inch display. It comes with the Intex Application Store, the WStore, and is preloaded with 41 International and popular games (Doodle Jump, Angry Birds, Gears of War, Need for Speed, Gogo Box, Guns & Glory, etc). The phone is also a good option for avid book readers, as it has some books stored inside, ranging from classic to fiction and from thriller to general science. Additionally, the user can save upto 500 books in the secondary storage of the phone. It has an inbuilt memory of 79 MB and comes with a 4GB microSD card.

The Intex Sense comes with miscellaneous features like an audio equalizer, sound recorder and a torch light with Dual LED. It has dual cameras - the back camera is a 3 megapixel shooter, while the front camera has a resolution of 1.3 mega pixels. Social network access shortcuts have direct links to major sites, like Facebook and Twitter. Languages supported include English and Hindi. Other features, include motion sensor, dynamic wallpaper, messengers, King movie and sketch notes, etc. The phone has a talktime of 4.5 hours and a standby time of 380 hrs.

It’s priced at Rs.3,690 and the phone is available in black and white colours. The Sense can be bought through more than 15,000 distributors and reseller outlets, at 70 INTEX SQUARES (exclusive retail stores) and several hypermarkets across the country.
