So, we have yet another company delving into the already quantitatively overcrowded mobile phone market. Josh mobiles, an upcoming telecommunication company in India has announced the launch of their new JB 289 mobile phone. The phone does have a few features that might appeal to people looking out for a low-budget phone. The JB 289 music handset
The JB 289 is a dual-SIM phone that has FM Radio, Audio Player, Memory Card upto 4GB, with about 8-10 hours of talktime. The phone also has a digital camera, video player, image browser and an e-book reader. The phone sports a blue – black colour combination and the back does look quite impressive, from the pictures, at least. It also has media player dedicated buttons, a directional keypad, a music shortcut button along with the standard dual SIM call buttons and end buttons.
The phone is priced at Rs. 1,800 and is available all over India through select distributors. To be fair, at that price, the company does aim to provide a slew of basic features to users at an affordable price and it might just help being a handy backup phone for some. |
