Micromax A35 available for MOP of Rs 4,250

Micromax, today introduced the Bolt category with the launch of its new phone, the A35. The Bolt category will include a new range of feature-rich phones from Micromax. The A35 from Micromax sports a full capacitive touchscreen display measuring 10.1cms (4 inches approx), and runs on Android 2.3.5 (Gingerbread). It is powered by a 1GHz processor. Equipped with a 2MP rear camera and a 0.3MP front camera, the phone captures all your favourite moments in supreme clarity. The A35 comes with an expandable memory up to 16GB.
Powered by a 1500mAh battery, the phone provides a talk time of 4.5 hours ensuring a strong battery backup supporting Bluetooth 2.1 and Wi-Fi, ensuring full time connectivity for the social media buffs. The latest Android device from Micromax comes with ‘Flash Transfer’ for better file sharing experiences, making it easier and faster for users to share images, videos, songs and more. Flash transfer enables users to share apps, games, photos, videos, songs and more with just a swipe. Users can drag content across the screen or simply shake and share seamlessly between Android devices to spread the excitement at blazing fast speeds. The app works on Wi-Fi, making one of the devices a Hotspot and sharing files over the private network via “Flash Transfer” App to keep the action going even without any data connectivity. It is the ideal application for the young generation who is always on the lookout for better, faster and savvier smart phones on the go!
With a MOP of Rs 4,250 the Bolt A35 will be available across all leading retail outlets in India, starting today.
Yesterday, the company announced the launch of online sales for their first quad-core smartphone, the A116 Canvas HD.
At the time of the launch, the A116 was expected to be priced under Rs 15,000 and Micromax has met that mark. The A116 Canvas HD is priced at Rs 13,990 on the company's official website.
The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek MT6589 1.2GHz quad core processor. It is one of the most power efficient chips in the market since it is manufactured using a 28nm process. The phone also has a PowerVR Series5XT GPU and has 1GB of RAM. The CPU and GPU are more than enough to perform everyday tasks smoothly and to run HD games. The A116 Canvas HD boots Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, but Micromax has included some changes in the UI including quick toggles in the notification drawer. The phone comes equipped with a 2100mAh battery.
