Motorola Announces 3 New Handsets for India

Motorola India Private Limited has just announced its plans for an exciting range of products for India starting with The MOTOROKR EM35, MOTO VE66, and MOTOSURF A3000. These handsets aim to combine their users need for music, imaging and smartphone experiences in neat form factors with stylish and innovative designs.
 

“With our exciting new portfolio we are targeting eager individuals who use music to express themselves, connect with friends and project their music personality. We’re also targeting active professionals who are true ‘life multi-taskers’ constantly looking to fill every minute of their lives with new experiences, for whom information at their fingertips is critical in managing their hectic schedules,” said Faisal Siddiqui, head of India Operations, Motorola Mobile Devices.

“We believe MOTOROKR EM35, MOTO VE66 and MOTOSURF A3000 will make great style statements with their sleek, stylish form factor along with incredible experiences to Indian consumers.” he added.
 
First on the list is the MOTOROKR EM35 slider that features -
  • 2.2-inch TTF LCD (240 x 320 pixels, 256K colors)
  • Touch sensitive FastScroll navigation wheel
  • microSD card support (up to 32GB)
  • GPRS/EDGE
  • Bluetooth with A2DP, USB 2.0
  • 3.1 megapixel camera
  • CrystalTalk technology 2.0
  • Virtual surround sound
  • Dedicated music keys and built-in dual speakers, 3.5mm earphone socket
  • FM radio with RDS (can be played without headphones connected)
  • Compatibility with Windows Media Player 11

The handset also comes with pre-installed and downloadable “widgets” for access to real-time information such as weather, device status, RSS reader and more. The MOTOMUSIC player is an exclusive application that enables users to listen to music while being simultaneously connected to the MOTOMUSIC music store. Once connected users can discover and access new music, preview and purchase music, retrieve artist information, share favorite tracks with friends, send music tracks as gifts and watch videos. Motorola’s MUSICID feature is also present.
