Motorola Announces GSM, CDMA Lineup

Motorola, has introduced Motomobile, its biggest line up of entry level GSM and CDMA handsets, to date. The lineup includes two clamshell handsets, the Motorola W220 and W375 and candybar handsets, the W170, W208 and W210. The W220 features a built-in stereo FM radio, picture messaging, up to 600 entry phone book and an external display with colour icons for instant updates on message. It measures in at 46 x 95 x 16.7mm and 93 grams, has a 128 x 128 1.5" colour screen and a battery life that accommodates up to 497 minutes of talk time and 293 hours stand-by. The W375 features an integrated VGA camera, speakerphone functionality, mobile USB, FM radio and MP3 ring tones. It shares the intuitive external display of the W220, supports SMS and MMS messaging and comes in Cannon Gray, Lustrous Silver and Mandarin Orange. The triband W375 is 45 x 99 x 18.6mm with 1.5 MB user memory, features a 128 x 160 TFT screen with up to 450 minutes of talk time and up to 250 hours of stand-by. The W208 available in Fire Red/Black Slate and Silver Sail/ Black Slate is less than 15mm thick and features a stereo FM radio, 200 entry internal phone book, speakerphone and 32 channel polyphonic ring tones. The W210 and W170 are the two entries in the CDMA portfolio. With a two tone appearance and colourful wallpaper options, the W210 has a built in stereo FM radio and comes with Motorola's Lantern feature for illumination at night or in dark environments. 14.6mm thick, the W170 features FM radio, 32 level polyphonic sound, up to 500 phonebook entries and a speakerphone.
