MWg Enters India, Launches WinMob Handsets

Singapore-based Mobile and Wireless Group (MWg) has entered the Indian market and unveiled their latest Windows Mobile handsets - the MWg Atom V and MWg Zinc II.


The MWg Atom V is a full-featured, touch-screen operated device with in-built GPS, 3.5G HSDPA and onboard Wi-Fi. The handset is 14.95mm thin and comes in midnight blue hue. The front face of the device houses the 2.8" LCD screen, a scroll wheel and four buttons. The phone also features a 2.0 mega-pixel camera with auto focus and FM radio with RDS (Radio Data System) that provides data on the station, the current track on air from a station and traffic alerts.


The Atom V features an Intel processor running Microsoft Windows Mobile 6 Professional at 520 MHz and will retail at Rs. 27888.
