We covered TRON Legacy a little while ago. It seems that Nokia has shifted into high gear with its TRON ad campaign, by going the viral way for its website, blog and Facebook fan page. The Facebook page has a picture of the Encom logo, the company which was created by Jeff Bridges in the original 1982 smash hit. Time to get derezzed The Nokia NSeries Blog on the other hand, has the TRON city background with a translucent N8 on the top. When you scroll down, you will find a new trailer for TRON Legacy which was unlocked by entering a code. The mystery code was cracked within a very short time by TRON fans and now the trailer is available for all to see. You can see the amazing new trailer below. The last piece of the viral ad campaign can be found at Nokia’s Twitter page. A few tweets contained binary codes; a message from Nokia staff shortly thereafter claimed they’re trying their best to take back the control of the Nokia blog from Encom mainframe. Viral ads are always a fun way to drum up interest for a movie, and Nokia is doing a pretty good job at it, Also make sure that you take a look at the trailer and spot a certain cameo. |
