Nokia launches Dual-SIM, touchscreen, Asha 305 in India

| by Aneez Shaikh | Mobile phones

The Nokia Asha 305 phone is now officially available in India. Announced in June this year along with Asha 306 and Asha 311 phones, Asha 305 is the first member of the Asha Touch phone line-up. Priced at Rs. 4,688, the Nokia Asha 305 is a dual-SIM (GSM+ GSM) handset with some decent features.

During the announcement, Nokia had said that the Asha Touch line-up is designed keeping entertainment in mind, and Asha 305 keeps that promise with some entertainment-centric features. The 3-inch touchscreen phone comes with 40 pre-loaded games and memory support up to 32GB to keep your music and video files.

"By introducing the Asha Touch phones to the market, we're accelerating our commitment to connect the next billion consumers. These phones deliver on what young, urban people value most -- a great-looking device; and an intuitive and affordable experience for connecting to the internet, to their friends, and to a world of entertainment, web apps and content,” said Mary T. McDowell, Nokia's Executive Vice President for Mobile Phones.
