Pantech, Tata Indicom Announce New Phone

Korean mobile phone manufacturer, Pantech, has launched a new handset — the Pantech Slider (PA-715SC) — with Tata Indicom.

The PA-715SC features a 65K colour LCD screen, 1000 phonebook entries, built-in VGA Camera, Multimedia Messaging support, Animated Ringers, Internet access and BREW platform, which allows users to download a entertainment and productivity applications to personalize their handsets. The handset is available with Tata Indicom and can be acquired at Rs. 7999 with a range of Tata Indicom tariff plans on Postpaid and Prepaid products. It is available across the country through retail outlets where Tata Indicom mobile phones are exhibited including all Tata Indicom True Value Hubs, Shoppes and Express.

Tata Indicom has also introduced an EMI scheme for those interested in buying the PA-715SC. Customers in select circles can buy the handset with an upfront payment of Rs. 3,499 and an EMI of Rs. 300 for 18 months.
