Samsung Launches Three New Guru Handsets

Samsung Mobile has further strengthened its popular Guru series with the launch of three new handsets - Guru 2120, Guru 2130 and Guru 1160 in the Indian market. The launch of Guru 2120 and Guru 2130 marks the introduction of the camera feature in the Guru series. “With features like VGA camera with recording capability, MP3 Playback, Wireless Stereo FM Bluetooth and an expandable memory up to 2GB available in the Samsung Guru Series, we are raising the bar for affordable mobile entertainment”, said Asim Warsi , GM-Marketing , Samsung India Electronics Pvt. Samsung Guru 2130 The second handset the Guru 2130 is as loaded as the 2120 but also comes with dual loud speakers. Quite like the Guru 2120, it comes with a VGA Camera and Video recorder and also supports external memory via micro SD cards up to 2GB. It also has an internal antenna for the radio that enables the user to listen to the FM anytime, anywhere without any earphones. Safety features like Mobile tracker and functions like Bike Mode and Mobile Prayer 2.0 are also on board. It comes with 4 embedded JAVA games as well. It is priced at Rs. 3600. Guru 1160 The company also announced the launch of Guru 1160 that is being marketed as a Value for money handset. This dual band phone comes with Wireless Stereo FM powered with Dual Loud Speakers, a bright Torch Light, MP3 Ringtones, 1000 mAh battery which Samsung says will give users a talk time of up to 12.3 hours and stand by time of up to 30 days, as well as innovative features like the Bike Mode that prioritizes the user’s calls so that only the important calls are answered automatically using the earphones, while riding a two wheeler. It also supports 7 regional languages. The Guru 2120, 2130 and the Guru 1160 are priced at Rs. 3,240, Rs. 3,600 and Rs.2249 respectively. |
