Samsung Reveals Two New Handsets

Samsung unveiled two new handsets, the Samsung S7070 (full touch screen handset) and the S5150 also known as Olivia (clamshell). According to the reports,� these handsets are to be the first in a new line of handsets called 'Diva'.�

The S5150 or Olivia is a chic looking clamshell device that features an external LED display that's hidden amongst the many tiny mirror-like panels. It's also equipped with -

• 2.2 -inch touchscreen display with 240 x 320 pixels
  
• EDGE/GPRS
• Bluetooth with A2DP, USB 2.0
• 3.15 megapixel camera
• microSD

The S7070 is more generic touchscreen device with Samsung's TouchWiz UI but still incorporates a little bit of fashion sense with a glossy diamond-like rear paneling. It also features -

• 3 inches TFT Touchscreen with a� 240 x 400 pixel resolution
  
• EDGE/GPRS
• Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP
• 5 megapixel camera with autofocus
• FM radio
• microSD

Both the phones are mid-range and are targeted at the female audience obviously. The handsets should be available by the first quarter of 2010 and there is no information available about the pricing yet.
