SICT Mobile launches 'a dynamite of features' - SILK handset

Upcoming low-end handset manufacturer in the country, SICT Mobiles has announced the launch of their SILK handset in the country. Referring to the handset as a 'dynamite of features', the company in an official statement confirm that the handset is rich in features.

Here's a look at the specifications of the SILK handset:

 

  • Dual-SIM, Dual-band
  • 2.8-inch “real” touch pad display
  • 1.3 MP camera and flashlight
  • 20fps video recording
  • AVI, 3GP and MP4 video formats support,and MP3, WAV, MIDI, AMR audio formats support
  • 3.5mm earphone jack 
  • Call recorder
  • Bluetooth A2DP support
  • 16GB external memory

 

Further according to the official statement, the handset, in addition to supporting SMS, MMS functionalities, offers handwriting hold up in message writing. The handset also comes with a feature called Call Connect Notice, which sets the handset vibrating each time a call gets connected. This feature seems beneficial from the health point of view, since the user can keep himself at bay from h igh levels of radiations mobiles are known to emit. 

 

The handset, according to the official statement comes with an in-built security mechanism that safeguards the phone book, messages and multimedia files. There's also a mobile tracker for theft protection that comes included. The handset has been priced at Rs.2,399 (MRP).
