Spice Mobiles Launches VAS-enabled S-940

Spice Mobiles has announced the launch of Spice S-940, claiming that the phone is all set to lead a special category of VAS enabled handsets.


The Spice S-940 comes equipped with M-Learning in association with popular learning portal mgurujee, a feature that helps its users, prepare for competitive exams like CAT, MAT, IIT-JEE or CBSE etc. Targeted at students and youth, this gives its users, freedom to study and enhance their knowledge while on the move. The phone also comes equipped with ‘e-mail2sms’ service - a platform which provides e-mails as an SMS to the inbox. Also embedded is social networking platform ibibo’s New Friend Finder.

Priced at Rs. 5999, the Spice S-940 also comes pre-loaded with features like privacy lock, dazzle ringtone, bluetooth remote control, SMS scheduler, 2MP camera with flash, FM (with record and play), music player with dual speakers, Opera Mini and Reuters. The phone comes bundled with a 1 GB card.
