Videocon has something for all you bike fans out there. It’s the Ducati series mobile phone called the V6200. Apart from having the standard features of a mobile phone, it also packs in some extra sports goodies. It comes at a price of Rs. 11, 995 which might just be the MRP, and the market price should be around Rs. 10,000. Vrroom vrroom! To start off with the mundane features, the phone has a 2.4 inch display having a resolution of 240×320 pixels with 262K Colors. It’s got a 2 MP camera with video recording and FM Radio on Loudspeaker. The battery offers a talk time of about 6 hours and standby time of 400 hours which looks quite average. It also has a Dual LED torch and a customizable back OLED screen. The screen has 3 modes, namely Phone, Fun and Sports modes. Standing pretty! Coming to the more interesting new features that it has to offer, you firstly get a 4 GB micro SD card preloaded with lifetime validity of MapMyIndia. It has quite a few sports features like GPS, Thermometer, Barometer, Pedometer, Altimeter, UV Rays Sensor, Digital Compass, and lastly an LED pulse indicator. Phew! The phone has dedicated keys for GPS, LED Torch, Camera & (MFD) Sports Feature. If that’s not enough you get an adventure flask and an arm-band as sports content. It also packs in some more with a Mo-biking user guide and a PC Suite. To top it all off, it comes with a CD that contains pictures and videos of Ducati bikes! Now that’s a really long list of new features, the kind of stuff that you want to get your hands on. Although it does look good, it still should perform the basic functions of calling and messaging, and do it well. We’ll give you a detailed review once we get our hands on the bike… Err… Phone! |
