Zen Mobile's Triple SIM GSM Phone - The M111 Introduced

| by Sriram Gurunathan | Mobile phones

Zen Mobile has launched the M111, a triple SIM GSM phone that functions on triple standby (GSM+GSM+GSM). This follows the launch of AKAI's own triple SIM phone, the Trio.

The M111 has quite a few mundane features like a 2.4-inch screen, a music player with 6-band equalizer, a 1.3 megapixel camera with video recording, an E-book reader and expandable memory up to 8GB. Connectivity wise, the phone supports GPRS and WAP, along with Bluetooth and it can connect to the PC via the USB port for data transferring.

Deepesh Gupta, MD, Zen Mobile said, “Zen Mobile has always strived to offer products that create more value for its customers. With the launch of India’s first triple GSM Sim mobile phone, we have taken a step further in offering convenience and the utility at an unrivalled price, to our customers,” commenting on the launch.

The phone has very similar specs to the AKAI phone, which makes us suspect they’re both just different brandings of the same OEM handset. We can’t tell for sure though, because not much is known about the other specs. Anyway, the Zen M111 is available in Red and White and will cost Rs. 3,499.

If you’ve used any of Samsung’s flagships in the past, you’ll be right at home with the new S4. We quite liked the handset during our brief encounter with it a few weeks back and after using it for about a week, we have come to like it even more.
