Sachin Tendulkar now speaks through Reliance's CeleBlog

With the introduction of mobile number portability, telecom operators have been increasingly introducing new services, features and plans to attract new users and satisfy their current subscribers as changing an operator no longer necessitates changing your phone number. In a bid to attract more customers while diversifying its product portfolio, Reliance has launched a new service wherein fans of cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar can follow him through an online voice blog. Called CeleBlog, the pan-India service will feature Tendulkar talking about any topics that interest him. Each time Tendulkar adds a new blog, Reliance will notify its subscriber through an SMS, who can then activate the Celeblog service by dialing 56665100. It comes with a subscription charge of Rs.30 per month, along with a dial-in charge of 75 paise/min.

In the blog, Tendulkar is expected to speak on all matters close to his heart, ranging from cricket to politics, family and friends. The blog will reveal all about the cricket maestro in his own voice-over and style. With this, Reliance plans to render a unique experience to all cricket lovers, considering the enormous fan following that the cricketer has attracted during the span of his career.

Reliance Communications recently announced the attractive Master plan for GSM users in Karnataka that aimed to attract new subscribers and also benefit existing users. The Master Plan available at  Rs.46,  Rs.101, and  Rs.74, and claims to be the only plan that covers voice, text and data. Reliance has also announced new 3G data plans for its users and a host of initiatives to expand its 3G base in India. They also introduced, My Best Plan, which the company claims is the industry's "first usage-adaptive plan."
