Asus Launches 20-inch PW201 LCD Monitor

Asus a leading brand in computing has just introduced its latest Widescreen LCD monitor the Asus 20 inch PW201 with a native resolution of 1680x 1050. It comes with a contrast ratio of 800:1 and features both DVI-D and D-SUB inputs.

The PW201 also features Asus's Splendid Video Intelligence Technology, which evaluates each pixel in a frame and adjusts them for a better viewing experience. Colors, Brightness, contrast and sharpness can be set for conditions that are most favorable for the human eye. The Asus PW201 also features a pivot neck design which allows the LCD panel to be physically rotated from landscape mode to portrait mode depending on the application and development requirement. This is useful for both web designers and avid surfers. The built in 1.3 MP cam and the attached speakers allows the monitor to be to be used for multimedia applications. Video conferencing is possible with the bundled LifeFrame software bundle.

The PW201 is priced at Rs 38,000. Asus offers a 1 year product warranty and follows a zero dead pixel policy under which if the LCD panel develops even a single dead pixel it can be traded in for a replacement.
