Asus has just launched another professional grade monitor for graphic designers and professionals, but this time it’s a lot more affordable. Their current PA246Q monitor that we reviewed recently was quite impressive, but really expensive at the same time. The PA238Q on the other hand is designed to offer similar features but at a much lower price.
Feature packed for the price
While the pricing seems very good for the features you’re getting, I’m wondering if Asus has compromised a bit on the panel. Other than the size being slightly smaller, it doesn’t seem all that different from its bigger brother, yet there’s a huge difference in price. While they do mention it’s an IPS panel, they don’t specify what type like e-IPS, S-IPS or H-IPS. We’ll know for certain once we review it.
